VALIDATION. Long-term experiments (LTE) are often good illustrations of sustainability. Often, the RDN grain-nitrogen yield response to TUN N-fertilization on such LTEs is analogous to AgroNum™ N-fertilizer response curves (https://lnkd.in/eBmfT3NM).

Herein, data from Knapp et al. 2023 for winter-wheat over 30 site-years - https://lnkd.in/dDdk7_Bz ; grain nitrogen contents are inferred from Hildermann et al. 2010 (https://lnkd.in/d6cFPA4D).

At any given site across Europe, AgroNum™ N-fertilizer response curves tend to reflect LTE yield responses to N-fertilizer. To the extent that LTE cropping schedules are sustainable, both curves will be quasi-identical for that particular site ; herein 47.50258 N 7.53934 E.
